This tanker was graciously donated to the Oaks Corners Fire Department in 1965 by
Ceburn Lee and was the first Oaks Corners Fire Department vehicle. The tanker was
built on a 1955 Ford chassis, held 1,250 gallons of water and carried a portable pond.
This truck was taken out of service in 1993 when we purchased the 1993
International/4-Guys tanker/pumper. The 1955 was then sold to Day Brothers Farms for
$650.
