| Motorists Escape Injury in Thruway Crash |
On August 15 at 2:26pm, the Oaks Corners Fire Department & Phelps Ambulance were dispatched to 327.4
westbound on the New York State Thruway for a reported motor-vehicle crash with possible injuries. Oaks
Corners Chief Brian Maney was the first unit to arrive on scene and reported a two-vehicle crash that was
partially blocking the westbound lane. He also reported that there were five occupants in the vehicles and that
the injuries were minor, if any. The Oaks Corners Fire Dept. responded with Engine 3211 & Rescue 3272 with a
crew of 14 fire & EMS responders. Phelps Ambulances 2191 & 2192 also responded along with Lyons
Ambulance ALS.
