| Firefighters Battle Barn Fire on Leach Rd. in Lyons. |
On July 20th at around 10pm, the Lyons Fire Dept was dispatched to a reported barn fire ay 817 Leach Rd. in
the Town of Lyons. Law enforcement units reported fire showing from over a mile away. Lyons Chief Chuck Witt
requested tankers from Marbletown & Oaks Corners as well as the Village of Lyons tanker.
Oaks Corners Tanker-Pumper 3231 responded with a crew of 5 under Chief Reifsteck & Asst. Chief Maney. An
additional crew of 5 remained on stand-by in the Oaks Corners station with Engine 3211.
