Minor Injuries in Lester Road Crash
On March 13, 2010 at 5:58pm, the Oaks Corners Fire Dept. and Phelps Ambulance were dispatched to Lester
Road south of County road 23 for a reported crash involving a car that had struck a tree. Chief Brian Maney
arrived on scene within a few minutes and reported a car versus tree with heavy damage. The occupants were
in a nearby residence and two out of the three occupants were injured. The Oaks Corners FD responded with
Engine 3211 and a crew of 21 under Chief Maney. This included a crew of 8 that remained on standby in
station with additional apparatus.

The injured patients were transported to the hospital via Phelps and Finger Lakes Ambulance.

During this incident, the Oaks Corners Fire Dept. was dispatched to a crash with a fluid leak on the NYS
Thruway. Heavy Rescue 3272 responded with a crew under Deputy Chief Reifsteck. Engine 3211 responded
from the original incident. There were no injuries in the second crash.
