| Crash With Injuries on Rt. 14 at Cross Road |
On January 19, 2011 at 10:53am, the Oaks Corners Fire Dept. and Phelps Ambulance were dispatched to the
intersection of Rt. 14 and Cross Road for a reported two-car crash with injuries. The 911 Center reported that
there was an unresponsive patient in one of the vehicles. Oaks Corners Chief Brian Maney responded along
with Engine 3211, Heavy Rescue 3272, and a crew of 9 fire & EMS responders. Oaks Corners EMS personnel
assisted with patient care and removal of two of the patients from a vehicle. Firefighters assisted with patient
removal, traffic control, and hazard control including cleaning up leaking fluids and securing the batteries in the
vehicles.
